(Title taken from "Mind and Nature" by Gregory Bateson) For my diploma thesis project I constructed an installation that playfully combined various types of media. Media I used included homemade and modified electronic equipment, found objects, plants, photographs, and text. An audio tape running across the entire installation space and ceiling as well as five separate sound sources created a constantly changing landscape of sound. Furthermore, electronic devices were exhibited with which the viewer could interact. The object of the countless material was to generate thematic cross connections and to create a cosmology. |
